# Blocking/unblocking a full day: 2 methods

There are 2 ways to completely block a day for online appointments.

### Method 1:

This is especially useful if you want to block a single day.  
At the top of the calendar, on the specific day, click the arrow pointing down **\[**![](https://knowledgebase.crossuite.app/galleryDocuments/edbsn73ccdb6950612c78cbdb55f9210b24d3ee7acd2ba4c5460d0f6c48ee888f8c6c5e954e1a39b3d4e82a43c04f92136e86ec3f40cc8e361c13dcfa6705216e63dc?inline=true)**\]** next to your name. Now click **\[Set Day as Full\]** to block it. To unblock it, uncheck the option again.

The blocked day is shaded in the diary.

## Method 2:

When you want to block multiple days at once, it's better to choose this method.  
Schedule an appointment on the first day that needs to be blocked. Give the appointment a title, for example "Vacation", and enter the start and end time. For example, 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM.

**\-**icon, we create a repetition, to block multiple days. To set the repetition, you choose custom. Here, you also enter the end date, if applicable.
