# Creating, modifying, and deleting daynotes

Click on your name at the top of the day where you want to place a daynote and click [Create Daynote].

## Creating a daynote

Click on your name at the top of the day where you want to place a daynote and click **\[Create Daynote\].**

In the daynote bubble, fill in the desired information and click **\[Create Daynote\]** at the bottom. If the daynote relates to a patient, link it by searching for the patient or choosing the pinned patient. If the daynote is a message for that day, type the message as a title instead of linking a patient.  
If you want the daynote to repeat, use the repetition symbol ![](https://knowledgebase.crossuite.app/galleryDocuments/edbsn699622e5ad55aac7d6a32185eb0f59e194e9914a7fccc6d241fe69e514a6eef879006c1d75f41fc8eaf3fbba6fb626ad254c60c2b5433977c3395372b4610cc5?inline=true).

The daynote will then appear at the top of the calendar. By clicking on it, you can open it.

## Modifying a daynote

Click on the day note and click the edit button at the top.

For example, if you want to make a separate note for yourself, you unlink the linked patient via the dustbin-icon.

In the **\[Title\]** field, enter the note for yourself. If you want the daynote to be in a different color, select the desired color under **\[Appointment Type\]**. Finally, click the green **\[Save\]** button at the bottom.

The daynote is now updated.

## Deleting a daynote

You delete a daynote by clicking on it and then clicking on the dustbin-icon.
