# Creating/deleting appointment repeat

To schedule appointments or events that repeat every day, week, month, or year, you have the option to create a repeating appointment.

To schedule appointments or events that repeat every day, week, month, or year, you have the option to create a repeating appointment.

## 1\. Create a repeat

When creating an appointment, click the **\[Add repeat\]** button.

Then you get the option to repeat your appointment **daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly**.  
With the '**custom**' option, you can set a recurrence pattern yourself.

There are a number of options for setting a repeat pattern:

-   Repeats every:  
    Choose whether your appointment is repeated daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
    
-   Repeats on:  
    Choose on which days of the week the appointment is repeated (Monday through Sunday). This option is only available if the repeat is repeated weekly.
    
-   Ends:  
    With this option, you set when the repeat ends.
    
    -   Never: the repeat does not end and continues indefinitely.
        
    -   On: the repeat ends on this date.
        
    -   After: the repeat ends after the pattern has been repeated x number of times.
        

Click **\[Set\]** to add the repeat.

To check if a repeat has been set, hover your mouse over the repeat icon.

## 2\. Deleting a repeat

To delete a repeating appointment, click on the trash can icon \[Delete\] in the upper right corner of the appointment bubble.

Then you have the choice to delete only **this appointment, this and following appointments,** or **all appointments**.

If you choose to delete **all appointments**, the repeating appointments that were in the past for that appointment will also be deleted.

It is possible to disconnect an appointment from a repeat by using the **\[Unlink\]** button in the appointment bubble. Suppose you want to delete a repeat, but keep a few appointments; in that case you can unlink them.
