# Pinning a patient

Pinning a patient allows you to quickly and easily see contact information, flags, and upcoming appointments.

# Pinning a patient

Pinning a patient allows you to quickly and easily see contact information, flags, and upcoming appointments. It is also possible to quickly modify patient data or open the patient file from a pinned patient.  
You pin a patient by clicking the pin (drawing pin) button. You can find this button in various places.

In the appoinment balloon:

After pinning the patient, the photo of the patient appears on the right side of the screen.

Click on the photo to quickly view the contact information, flags, or upcoming appointments.

# Upcoming appointments

To consult a patient's upcoming appointments, pin the patient and click on the calendar icon.

## Emailing upcoming appointments

To send the appointments to the patient by email, click on the three dots and click **\[E-mail appointments\]**.

Select the correct template and click **\[Send\]**.
